+Most Memorable Apolo Moment

What is your most memorable Apolo moment?

There are so many but if I have to choose one it would be
when he skated the 500m in Torino. He was kinda struggling during the
Olympics at first, but he did NOT give up and his hard work paid off. The
look on his face was priceless. I had to watch it twice :-) He was not
obsessed with winning the Gold medal, Apolo just wanted to do his best
and he got what he deserved! Nobody could touch him in that race. Apolo
is someone people could look up to!

My most memorable moment about Apolo would be when he skated
in the 5000m relay. He tried his best and he was greatful that he took
bronze! Thats my kind of hero!

 I would have to say his gold medal victory in the 500M in
Torino. The expression on his face when he crossed the line said it all-
he knew he had skated that perfect race he had always looked for. He
just looked so thrilled and excited. I was happy for him, and still am! =)

I'll never forget when Apolo almost messed up huge in the 500
semi in Torino but kept going and finished third, qualifying him for
the finals because a person before him was disqualified. Whithout that stunning finish he would never have won gold!

2006 Olympics. Apolo influenced me into a world of ST
speedskating that I had never heard of before. His sportsmanship, style, and
irresistible 'aura' captivated me on that fateful final race in Torino,
and ever since. Maybe if there were more athlete's like Apolo, I would
enjoy many other sports as well.
